In non-Marco-related news, we headed to the salon de l’agriculture this past Sunday.
I’m not sure what made this year unique (perhaps the complete absence of fowl, owing to the H5N8 avian flu strain that’s resulting in mass culling in various regions), but it felt less like fun and more like a slog.
I did not: give much of a shit.
I did: take a few pictures in spite of the above.
Fine was this year’s cow.
Momentary excitement: a few teenagers protesting the consumption of meat. The hashtag on the back of their shirts reads ” freefine”
These are dapper cows.
Otherwise known as “fuck you, I won’t do what you tell me.”
Cowlings.
I suppose that this was interesting enough.
This horse can probably plow a field fairly efficiently, at least from a non-mechanized standpoint.
